Tips for being a great Mom…

#7: Say “I’m sorry”. Everyone blows it now and then. A Mom who can acknowledge her own failings, apologize to those she’s hurt, forgive herself, and then move on is a Mom who models humility and the frailty of humanity for her children.

Righting a wrong takes admitting what you did, voicing a sincere apology, asking anyone you’ve offended to forgive you, and making restitution, if necessary. When you apologize to your children, or your children witness you apologizing to your spouse or a friend, you help give them the courage to do the same.
